Thankful Thursday

It’s Thankful Thursday over at InStyle Stamps! I love this day – it reminds me both to be thankful and helps me to increase my thank you card stash, which rocks.  This cutie is Miss Ginger, and she is too much fun. I decided to go vintage rather than retro, so I dug out some Daisy D’s French Market paper and went to town. It really is split into three panels, but it blends so well with the Creamy Caramel, it’s hard to tell. Ginger is colored using Copic markers.

I used my Nesties to cut out Ginger’s oval, as well as the scalloped one. I sponged it with Tea Stain ink,  and used the Inkssential tool to apply it. I got them at Pez-a-Doodle Designs and cannot live without them!

Then I filled my card with Primas and added a thank you sentiment, and I was all done!

Have you been to Our Craft Lounge???

ocl_wineaway_tbuOk, Cambria and Joy have totally rocked it out with their new company, Our Craft Lounge. I mean it!! The sets are ALL fabulous, and come on these handy cling sheets that have holes already punched in them – perfect for a small binder!

This first card is from the set Going Gourmet. How darling is it? You can’t really tell in the pic, but the wine bottle and glass are covered with Crystal Effects.

ocl_tissuesontherun_tbuThe second card is from the adorable set called Running Sick. And it just cracks me up every time I look at it! I left this one super simple, because I am so in love with it.  Again, you probably can’t tell in the picture, but I used my hobby blade to cut a small slit at the base of the tissues, and pulled a bit of white tulle through it. It is SO cute irl!

Kraft Skates

I love love love, cannot get enough of, the look of Close to Cocoa on Kraft paper. Paired together, I think they make an absolutely wonderul vintage feeling card. So warm and delightful! This is another super simple holiday card, that is no frills – so I can mail it easily. I’m so lame, lol!

I can’t believe I actually  made a one layer card! Woohoo! I used my Nestablilities to emboss on the card front, and used the smaller rectangle as my guide for sponging around the skates. Put some snowflakes on there and done!

Now, let me tell you about some awesome stuff going on over at Lizzie Anne Designs! Are you ready????

  • They are retiring some amazing sets, and each set is available for purchase at 40% off!!! Even the singles!!!!! You cannot get a better deal than that, I promise! Go check out what’s on sale, and get it before it is gone!
  • This week the Product of the Week is the Winter Wonderland Paper Pack – and holy smokes is it full of fab paper! There are patterns that don’t have to be used exclusively for Christmas, so you should totally snap this up while it is on sale – it would make a great gift, too!
  • The ladies at LAD are having a super fun card contest, that runs until Dec 24th – and the prizes are terrific! Check out all the deets here.

Have a truly wonderful day, and thanks so much for stopping by!!
