Hot Chocolate and Good Friends!

lad_warmmugscoaster_tbu1I have two exciting things to show you today! What a way to start the week, right? Since it is the first of the month, the Lizzie Anne Designs newsletter comes out today! Also, fun new projects of the month are uploaded to the site. I adore this little coaster – I made it for my daughter to hang wherever she wanted to — currently it is on the door to her room.

Stamps: Little Bits Christmas in the City
Other supplies: 4″x4″ chipboard coaster, Jet Black Stazon ink, Encore Silver ink, Pink Shimmerz paint, brown marker, eyelet setter, silver jumbo eyelets, silver ribbon

Directions:
1) Stamp mug images on coaster with Black Stazon
2) Use brown marker to color the hot cocoa inside the cup
3) Paint each cup with Shimmerz paint
4) Stamp snowflakes in Encore Silver randomly around coaster
5) Use the silver ink pad to apply ink directly to the edges and sides of the coaster
6) Punch two holes at the top and set the silver jumbo eyelets
7) Thread silver ribbon through each hole, tying a knot in the back

This coaster would make an adorable gift paired with a tin of your favorite hot chocolate! Also, be sure to take advantage of this awesome offer: Free Shipping on orders over $35! Fun Holiday Projects

As the holidays get closer, I always find myself out of everything – time, money, gift bags — all of it! I’m constantly searching for fun new ideas that are easy and heartfelt. You know, things I can do on the cheap(er), but are filled with love and care!

Well, ya’ll just have to check this out: the gals at Lizzie Anne Designs have put up the CUTEST holiday projects! This one, a Hot Cocoa kit, is featured on Tricia’s blog, Letters from Lizzie,¬†today. I’m planning to cheat a bit and put some Godiva Cocoa mix in mine, instead of homemade. I’m betting people won’t mind too much, lol!

Go over to their website and check out the other holiday projects — they are so cute!!
