For my card, I used a base of Chocolate Chip, a layer of Not Quite Navy, and a layer of Very Vanilla. I topped it off with a pice of Basic Grey dp, from their Periphery line. I stamped my cross, from Our Daily Bread Designs, in Chocolate Chip. I stamped my sentiment in Not Quite Navy, and used Nesties to cut everything out. At the top, I added Not Quite Navy brads, and under the sentiment (from Stampin Up)I put two pieces of chocolate grosgrain ribbon.
I made this for last week’s Color Monday challenge over at Christian Paper Crafts Magazine. They have such fun challenges, and it is a great place to gather and chat with other women! They have a gallery to upload pics to, and all sorts of other extras like Bible Study, a Question of the Day, a General Chit Chat area – you have to go check it out!
On this card, I used two Our Daily Bread Designs sets – Scripture Collection 2 and May God Hold You. I used a Copic marker to highlight some words and some flowers, a white gel pen to add dots (I love dots), Nesties, and my Cuttlebug with the texture folder for the black layer. I totally enjoyed making this card!
I hope you’ll come and visit us over on the CPCM boards, and participate in the challenges! there are some for scrapbookers as well!
