Tango Giraffe

I made this using the sketch challenge from SCS this week. I love it when sketches can be totally simple — especially when I am crunched for time! Thursday was a coworker’s last day and I needed several cards for her. I thought the sentiment on the LAD set Born to be Wild was perfect!

I also love this Prima dp — perfect pattern for this stamp, I think! The card itself is pretty straightforward – I distressed the edges of the vanilla layer, sponged it with Choc Chip and Tangerine ink, and added some hand stitching.

Stamps: LAD Born to be Wild
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Prima dp
Ink: Summer Sun, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: sponge, paper piercer, needle, button thread, distresser
Techniques: sponging, distressing, hand stitching
