I made several of these Mother’s Day cards - there are four (yes, 4!) moms between DH and myself. What that really mean is that my DD has four sets of grandparents who spoil her rotten
On Sunday, DD and I met my mom for lunch halfway between our house and hers. We had a great time! Afterwards, DD and I decided to drive right on past our house and on to see DH at work. He actually closed his store early due to inclement weather, so we waited out te crazy thunderstorms with him, safely inside the building. The three of us went out for Mexican for dinner, and then came home to watch some always-thrilling Thomas the Tank Engine action.
My colors cam from last week’s Color Combo Challenge. They were such springy colors! The card is super simple, as I made four while DD was eating dinner one night. I one-sheet-wondered (stamped all over one sheet, and cut it into pieces) the “background”, using Baroque Motifs. I stamped the sentiment form All Year Cheer on my scalloped oval, sponged the edges, paper pierced them, and highlighted the holes with a silver gel pen.
Each card had a different ribbon treatment, but I did use the Certainly Celery grosgrain on all of them. I’ll add more specific details later!! Have a wonderful day!
Beautiful, as always, Taylor!
It’s so beautiful, Taylor! I love those colors too!!!
